Production in the 50Hertz grid area

Power plants and EEG installations are power producers. Production covers all available feed-in values and output forecasts for the electricity generated in our grid area.

On this page, you will find the archives of data on the electrical production capacity within the 50Hertz grid area for the years from 2010 to 2014 (forecasted as well as actually generated output) as well as the link to thetransparency.entsoe.eu for the respective data from they year 2015 onwards.

This data ist mainly relevant for electricity market traders and we publish it here in accordance with the Transperency Regulation (EU 543/2013).

Forecast production output

The forecast production output is the sum of all existing production forecasts and schedules of power plants and EEG generators in the 50Hertz grid area for the subsequent day. At the current time, the production forecast does not fully reflect all power production assets of the grid area and is therefore incomplete as information about power plants feeding into downstream distribution systems is not included.

Below is an overview of the forecasted grid area load available from 2010 until 2014. This is available for download in Excel 97 format. Forecast values from the beginning of 2015 can be found at the ‘transparency platform’ of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) at: transparency.entsoe.eu

Actual electrical production output

The actual electrical production output is the sum of all available feed-in from power plants and the extrapolated feed-in from EEG generators in the 50Hertz grid area. At the current time, it does not fully reflect all production assets of the grid area. It is incomplete to the extent that it partly lacks information on power plants feeding into downstream distribution systems.
