Disclosure of EEG data

This section shows all monthly and annual disclosures of renewable energy feed-in into the 50Hertz grid area, as well as data on renewable energy delivered to final consumers.

Data provision builds the basis for forecasts, marketing and transparency.
Within the 50Hertz grid area, billing data as well as the master data of about 232,000 EEG installations with a currently installed capacity of almost 38,000 MW are available to the general public as well as associations, universities, research institutes, state authorities and other institutions.

Flow of data in the framework of the EEG management


A lot of data has to be processed and disclosed in the framework of EEG management. Which path does the data follow? Who is transmitting it, and who is receiving it?

Master data for EEG generators

Plant operators who put an RES installation into operation shall transmit the installation data to the installation register or market master data register managed by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) pursuant to § 6 of the EEG.
 

For reasons of data protection, the installations' locations are only published up to the postal code level.
