Redispatch measures are generally performed by instructing the offsetting of power plant pairs, whereby one power plant increases its capacity and the other reduces it. In exceptional cases, however, a one-sided redispatch measure can be taken, whereby only one capacity increase or only one capacity decrease is instructed. This can for example happen in case of voltage-based redispatch or after the redispatch potentials in both directions have been fully exhausted. In this case, the excess or shortage is balanced in the redispatch balancing group through commercial transactions.
*Also included are additional market transactions to maintain the system balance and measures to compensate for emergency reserve deliveries to neighboring TSOs.
